Project Description

St Peter’s College in Hackney is an independent Reception to Year 12 college for boys. They chose to redevelop its under-utilised heritage-listed 1935 built Pentreath building into a new middle school within its senior campus. A substantial two-storey addition, designed to optimise its passive environmental performance, was then built.

The existing Pentreath building had to be carefully stripped and then restored, with multiple wings connected to the building also demolished. A new two storey addition with a floor area greater than the existing building was added.
